DwellTek will come to your home and using GPS based survey tools and the know how gleaned from over 1,800 installations will give you a personal proposal with accurate solar energy production that is specific to your site, with consideration given to direction/shading/and pitch. We'll talk about cash vs. financed purchases and what size system works best for you and your interests.
Homes and businesses that have roofs facing directions other than south can still be good candidates for solar. Typically a roof that faces east or west will be capable of producing enough solar energy to make the purchase worthwhile. Compared to due south, an east or west installation will produce 10% to 15% less energy. If you're interested in maximum solar gain, we can install panels with additional fittings to boost efficiency.
A solar system will in fact protect the roof surface from future wear and tear, thus extending the life under the panels. A site assessment will allow an in depth investigation into the feasibility of installing on the current roof. If you do need a new roof, we've got trusted installation partners and the cost of the new roof where solar is installed will qualify for the 30% federal tax credit.
DwellTek sells only contemporary premium solar products. We feature modules and inverters with 25 year warranties and zero maintenance cost. Our integrator warranty covers you for 10 years should anything go wrong with the 'nuts and bolts' of the installation. It's really a worry free purchase!
Our pricing is turn key and won't leave you scratching your head. Our bids include all costs except for any required structural upgrades to reinforce your building frame. Structural upgrades are about as rare as a four leaf clover and generally cost less than $1000, and we'll discuss this in detail before starting any work. Each system is engineered by a Utah State PE and permitted per your local building department requirements.
From contract to completion you can plan on 4 to 5 weeks, with 1-3 days on site for the average installation. Complex jobs like ground mounts and installations with custom fabrication take a little longer.
